Note: You must be logged in to webmail for the following instructions.

Once you log in to Webmail, the screen that appears will show your email account in a web interface, which is not that different from your email program (see image below).

Through Webmail, you can read new mail, reply to these messages, compose new messages, view blocked spam messages and more. Webmail is accessible from any computer with a connection to the Internet.

By default, your Inbox will be shown when you first log in to Webmail.

The left frame lists your folders, and the “Current Folder” in the bar at the top of the screen indicates which of these folders you are currently in. “Sign out” will safely log you out of Webmail when you are finished.

Checking your Spam Folder

One of the folders listed in the left frame is labeled “Spam”. If you do not see the Spam folder, then SpamFilter has not been activated on your account. Send an email to accounts@mag-net.com to request SpamFilter for your email address.

The Spam folder contains messages that have been blocked from reaching your Inbox by the SpamFilter. Click on “Spam” to open the Spam folder and view messages that have been sent to you and have been regarded as spam. These messages will be retained in the Spam folder for 10 days after they have been received and then automatically deleted.

You may wish to look into this folder periodically to see if any of your regular contacts have sent you mail that has been caught by SpamFilter. Sometimes the filter will get a "false positive", resulting in blocked emails that are not actually spam. If a message from one of your contacts has been marked as spam, you can configure the SpamFilter settings for your email account to prevent it from happening again. Go to the next screen to learn how.
