We would like to advise Mag-Net’s dial-up Internet users that we will no longer be providing a dial-up Internet service. We thank you very much for your patronage over the years. We have made arrangements with ABC Communications to supply you with uninterrupted dial-up service and have transferred your accounts to them.
Q: Will I be able to keep my Mag-Net email address?
A: Your usernames and passwords will remain the same, and Mag-Net will still be your email provider so your email addresses will not change. We continue to provide services not related to dial-up access including domains, web development and hosting, email, networking, firewalls, servers, and corporate computer support.
Q: What settings do I need to change on my computer?
A: Your new dial-up number is 250-562-7000. ABC will be providing the technical support for your dial-up service from now on. Please contact them at 250-612-5270 for assistance with changing the dial-up number on your computer.
Q: What about dial-up service that I already paid for?
A: ABC will be honouring your paid time for dial-up Internet. Outstanding billings for dial-up are still payable to Mag-Net Internet, but all future billing will be from ABC Communications.
