From its office in Prince George, BC, this innovative solutions provider and open source software specialist offers a full range of technical services to its business and residential customers. These services include network installation and administration, security services, computer sales and support, website development, and web hosting on both Windows and Linux servers.
In 2005, Mag-Net celebrated the tenth anniversary of its incorporation, and plans to serve the Prince George community for many years to come.

Jim Rempel – President and CEO
Jim is the driving force behind Mag-Net. He started the company as a small home-based business out of his basement in 1986. Under his leadership, Mag-Net has grown to provide a complete solution to the technical requirements of local organizations. In addition to being an excellent technician, Jim has a remarkable business sense, two qualities that are rarely found in the same individual.
Rob Nelson – Operations Manager and Systems Administrator
As a founding partner in Mag-Net, Rob Nelson has helped expand the company with his technical expertise. Rob has been working his magic with UNIX based systems since back when Amiga and Commodore 64 were cool. As Systems Administrator he ensures that our many websites and email accounts run smoothly.
Paul Yuen – Network Specialist
Mag-Net is fortunate to have Paul contributing his extensive knowledge and experience to the company. With degrees in computer science and engineering, he is equally comfortable with both Windows and Linux systems. He has 20 years of hands-on technical experience, including project management, designing and implementing IT infrastructure, and strengthening of IT security measures for large computerization projects worldwide.
Pamela Liu – Web Developer
Pamela brings a wealth of education and experience to Mag-Net. Following her Bachelors of Science from UBC, she studied web development though the UBC Internet Publishing Program and the BCIT Weaving the Web Program. Along with her technical and design skills, her attention to detail and consideration of client needs ensures a project’s success.
